After much stuffing around here it is. Go to www.vcm.org.au and have a look around. Coming soon is online entering, stay tuned for that. All feedback is most welcome. Cheers J

Oh yeah I nearly forgot. Many thanks to VCM committee member Matt Rossignolli for his time and expertise for making the website happen. J

Very nice - good to see the new site online!

Also thanks to KB 171 for home page photo. Does anybody know who took the photo and what year. I see Trevor's on a Husky. Could the photographer be Alan Stone? J

Your a veritable font of knowledge Kev. What do you think of the new site? J

The new VCM site is great Jerry. Easy to use and fast to load. No doubt it will get more content as time goes by. Well done.

Who's the rider on the far left on the Bully? One of the Floods? Looking at the bikes attitude I don't think the riders ring would've released for a week! :D
-
That's Gary. What a hole shot! J
-
Can you name the other riders? J
-
Those Grand National riders have been named a few times in the past.
At Broadford last week, DVMCC maniac Dennis 'Crazy Horse' Curran (four fifth place finishes in four years)
told me his hands would blister and burst. And that the raw skin would blister again. When he'd come
in (45 minutes-plus), his gloves would be soaked in blood, and he'd throw them in the bin.
Goof rated it as the toughest event.
An interesting yardstick, when you think of the GP riders back then ... routinely doing two 45-min motos
per Grand Prix. Imagine that on a short-travel big-bore, around a fully-whooped, hilly track. Ouchy wow-wow.
Jerry, the home page of new website looks beautiful!!

Thanks Roger. I had a feeling that particular shot would resonate with the mid 70's mob. For me it sums up the mid 70's Victorian scramble scene perfectly. J

New site is excellent. The graphics suit the era of bikes too. One small thing, looks like the numbering on the list of rounds is out of order. Here's as they are on the site:
June 22nd, Round 3 at Underra
July 27th, Round 4 at Yanakie
Sep 14th, Round 5 at Yarram
Oct 26th, Round 2 at Pakenham
Nov 9th, Round 6 at Stoney Creek
-
Rd 2 is the rescheduled Pakenham round. I know it looks mixed up but we would have had to change the other venues Rd #'s which would have been messy. Does that make sense? J
