Title: Shock - CR250RD / 480 any difference?
Post by: Woody on June 21, 2008, 11:18:59 pm
Guys
are there any differences between the standard rear shock for the 1983 CR250RD and the 480?
The part no's are almost the same;
SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY.52400-KA4-682  and 52400-KA5-682 except for the KA4 for the 250 and KA5 on the 480.
appreciate your comments
Woody

i am not 100% sure but i would be guessing the spring rate would be one, 250 lighter than 480.

So close it's not funny. I run a 250 shock on my 480 and it's fine. I'd reckon the shocks the same, just slightly different springs.
