Motorbikes have been my life for the last 50 years but nothing has impacted me more than this day in history

Relax Hardex just joking. Some of my best friends believe in various gods. That doesn't stop me and them from having all sorts of piss taking sessions. Happy Easter by the way. J

Religion is like a penis: it's definitely OK to have one, it will almost certainly be important to you, its fine to be proud of it, but if you get it out and start waving it around then expect people to react badly.

The responses to Hardex' post were all very mild. Disrespecting his desire to wave his religion around perhaps, but no sign of disrespecting his beliefs or mocking him.

This forum doesn't allow political talk. I'm not sure how religion could be more acceptable.

My whole life has been based on risk taking for the thrill , but the one risk I was never game to take was to mock my creator or the son he sent to give me one last chance to avoid the bonfire.
Surely even a nonbeliever would avoid this risk ,just in case.

The catholic faith, it can be good for those who require guidance. Just a shame it's been damaged close to irreparable in this counrty by people who felt that being a leader meant living a lawless, shameful existence. I feel sorry for all the people who are genuinely involved in religion for good reasons only, your "brothers" have let you down in some of the most disgraceful of fashions.

It's not just in this country Brendan, it's open season worldwide for those unspeakable swine, and what makes it ten times worse is the fact that they prey on the one group that needs their help, protection, guidance and love above all else, the children.

The only thing I adhere to out of the bible is , " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you ", the reverse to that is, you fence me and I'll fence you.
I believe in evolution and I'm not talking about the class in between pre78 & 85.
Anyway Jesus was a biker, apparently it says in the bible that he crossed the desert on his Triumph.

Some need religion, some don't.
Thats the best part of this country, you are free do and beleive in what you like.

Personally I reckon its pretty simple, be an asshole and you will be treated like one.

And I speak from experience.  ;)

From what I recall it was actually a race, didn't report who came 1st 2nd or 3rd but apparent Jesus rode forth, on a Triumph. Not a bad effort considering the others were riding BSA's   ;D
