Title: Wanted '78 or later TS100 motor or complete bike
Post by: Doc on June 19, 2008, 08:37:19 pm
Looking for a '78 TS100 motor. Preferably complete motor or a complete bike. Running but in need of repair would be good but will consider any condition so long as it's a reed valve TS100 motor. Thanks

Sorry Doc just went and checked it. Not TC but TF100 reed engine born 7.78. Complete AG bike.

Tim, the TF replaced the TC's but is pretty much identical to the TS/DS100's of the same era. The '78-'80 models only ran 5 speeds but changed to 6 speed in '81 with the X model. The are slow and they are a little smaller and not as desirable (to most) than previous early models but I still want one regardless ;)

Damn Doc I better go tell my 10/78 TF100 it got to many gears................... ;) Maybe Suzi Australia marketed the later versions down here earlier. But honestly the TF100s  down here and I have seen and worked on many have 6 speeds the TF125s had 5 then six. :)

Tim if the TF100 has 6 speeds then that'll be an even bigger bonus cause she's gonna need em'  :P being the man on the land I take your word for it! ;)
