As title says, i am looking for a KX in either size, and either 82 or 83 model,

Geoffro my man, if you want anything worthy of calling somewhat of an investment your thread title should read: Wanted 1982 or 3 KX 80, 125 or 250!! You should know by now bigger is better! ;D

I have 80% (probably more) of an '82 KX250. Frame & parts powder coated, engine done with piston kit & sleeve, spare engine as well. A bit of a challenge but worth the effort if you have time. Located in Bendigo, Vic. Sell for the cost of powder coat & engine parts, $1200.

Ya not gonna get a better deal than this mate, that price leaves you with around $3800 left to pour into one of the few bikes these days that if finished off properly you'd go close to getting your money back on. And there's no way you'd have to spend that to finish it anyway...jump on it before someone else does.

Yep Rookie, I believe the 250's are the best investment. Big bores (500's) are cool but i think the 250 still the general best investment, of cause a yz360a breaks the rule.... But for how long....
