I am looking for a tank to suit an '82 YZ490J, as the one I have is split. I would assume that the tank shown in this post is long gone, but thought that I would post a reply to this thread just in case. Otherwise, has anyone got any suggestions on where is the best place to buy a new Clarke tank ? Are there any other aftermarket brands available ? The Clarke website shows that the tank they make to suit this model is 4.0 US Gal., which I think would be a bit larger than standard. I would be interested in a good second hand tank, but the common issue with older tanks is that they are usually brittle and split (especially if they have been sitting with no fuel in them).
