Hey fella's, cause my missus is such a good sport...after an Easter of fun at Broadford she's letting me off the hook for the rest of the week as well!! :D So i'll be coming home from Broadford, spending a day cleaning, re packing and rubbing just a lil bit of romance into the household, then im off again to hit the high country and beyond on a 4 day adv ride!! 8) I haven't done alot of multi day trips yet so looking forward to this one and all the awesome sights and places I'm sure this route will take me to, if anyone has done a similar trip before feel free to gimme any pointers on the route or what may be good to include/exclude. On the off chance anyone else has some time off and a bike capable you're welcome to join in! ;) Bit of company would be good but im certainly happy enough in my own company as well ;D Hey did i mention what a good sport my
cook missus is, the day im leaving even just happens to be her birthday ;D 8)
Cheers, Brendan

in lieu of slabbing it from Canberra to Bombala you could try:
Queanbeyan - Captains Flat - Cooma / Badja Road - Countegany Road - Numeralla - Numeralla road to Cooma (fast dirt from Captains Flat to Numeralla)
or take from Countegany - Tuross road - kybeyan road- Old Bega road - Nimmitabel - Bombala.
the slab is heavily watched and is extremely boring.
enjoy!

Thanks for all the sentiments and suggestions folks, had a great ride today covering 350 odd k's from home to Dargo, pulled in tonight and got a room with a lovely couple who have a house opposite the pub ;D Dan is an ex racer and at 60+ still rides through the bush here regularly. Looking forward to discovering the Snowy River rd and Barry Way tomorrow. Head up to Jindabyne and stay at Dalgetty tomorrow night. Will post some pics when reception allows here's the drinking hole for the night...note; this is not my bike, this bike is one of the Trailzone built APC rally bikes from a few years back, 2 were built, 1 for Wolfie and 1 for Clubby, Clubby kept his i think but this fella was lucky enough to score the one was up for sale and after chatting with him today it's fair to say he feels it was money well spent ;)
