Does anyone know of a 35.0x18 rear tire (or metric equivalent) that is available along with a matching front.
I'd like a tire that is good to race on and intermediate/hard compound.
I'm running a 100/100x18 Bridgstone 404 on the back of my TM125 and while I love the tire it has a bit too much traction at times.
Ideally I'd like something comparable (in terms of grip and performance) to the existing tire but in a smaller size
Cheers
Brent

You're likely to find it in imperial sizes with IRC tyres, hav you looked at or considered them?

4.10 is the 3.50 equivalent if that gives you more options.

You can still get 3.50x18 tyres in at least one of the cheap brands (Cheng Shin?), but there are no new brand name tyres available in that size.
I do have a new Dunlop K990 that I'd been hoarding for a project that hasn't gone anywhere in the last five years... If you want it, give me a yell.

Kenda do one in the old style 4-5 block pattern< I can get you one.

I'm happy with the Cheng Shin C755 4.10-18. Readily available on ebay. The matching 3.00-21 is somewhat hard to find, but they are out there.

Or....if you are looking for "less traction" at times....more pressure in the tyre will cause more spin / less traction....that is what I do with my 125 when the track conditions are ''too" good...

Thanks for all the input guys
Nathan, do you know what sort of terrain the k990 suits?
I may hang on a bit, today I got the bike to run properly for the first time. I'm racing it next weekend so I'll judge the need to change after that.

Vee Rubber do a 350x18 and 300x21. Model # VRM109, old style pattern and work really well. Most bike shops can get them for you. :)
