Post by: Tony T on March 11, 2014, 07:07:14 pm
Another one for the brains trust...... sorry.  :-[
Could someone suggest what these gauges might be off?

They're currently on a '72 TS125 but I wouldn't have thought that would have had plastic gauges?

Thanks again folks.

I'd say they're the correct gauges for a TS125

Jeez. You might right.  ???
I have 1979 SP gauges that have a metal body so didn't think that a '72 model would have been plastic.
Maybe they deliberately tried to make the SP heavier.  ;D
Thanks for that.

I was thinking T125 or 250, they look very similar to what my T500 had apart from red line & max speed

There's a point. They are in miles per hour so maybe older than I was thinking.  :-\

I'll buy a carton for anyone who can get a 1972 TS125 to 100mph.

After doing some more research, I've come to the conclusion that the bike is a '74 model and the gauges are correct for that year.  :D
And also correct for the '74 TS250......  :D

Tony , speedo is correct but I think you'll find the tach on the TS250 redlines at 7000rpm  ;)

Does it count if it's in the back of a V8 ute?  8)
