Title: 84wr husky Carby size

Hi all,
can anybody in Husky land tell me what size carburettor is on a 1984 wr 250 the parts manual says that it is 36 mm I have a 38 mm on mine.??

38mm Mikuni

450main jet

35 pilot (standard as supplied is 45) "watch it with the 35 pilot can be a bit lean at times"

2.0 slide

needle 6F16

needle jet P8

Air screw 1 and 1/4 turns

ours absolutely flys with that jetting

i forgot to mention , the 38mm is standard on the 84 model 240's and 250's

Hamster the 36mm is for the 125 only. Parts manual is a bit confusing I agree but re read it and you will see the 36 is only against the 125's.

I run the 470 main with a 35 pilot and it goes very well. Might try a 450 and see if it sprouts wings  ;D

Should have mentioned I run 3% oil -  32:1 Mixture makes a difference to the jetting.
