If i said it was japanese would that help. :O)

jimg1au that looks to me like a TM250/RM125A/250A/370A front. Any of these hubs should fit as should an '75 RM125M or S backing plate also. These wheels used the same hub but had a lipped rim ;)

TM250 ........Oh Doc beat me to it. If Doc says it's off a Suzuki you can bet it is. ;D

:D don't bet on it Firko! both 211zook (The Grand Master) and I both fell for a CR125 wheel being a TM125 wheel. He sold it to me as that and I bought it thinking it was that but big Darcy is quite happy to take it for his CR125. Bloody thing looked so similar I had it bolted in another roller before I realized! ??? >:( The offset in the backing plate is different causing the plate to drag on the hub when tightened ::) doh! My liability waiver states to always double check and don't take my word as gospel! ;) happy ending is I didn't want this wheel anyway but the 125S wheel that came in the deal and big Darcy has a spare ;) Do you have the cast in Max Dia. size from inside the brake drum jimg1au as that would confirm things. It's writted on the inside ;)

i think it said 130mm.a guy sold it to me as a cr wheel.i have emailed him but know reply.mx250 is looking for such a wheel so he now is the proud owner

:D So I'm not the only one to screw up things like this... My YZ125X came with an earlier front wheel - I was totally sure that it was from a YZ125A - it had a YZ125A brake, Yamaha small diameter axle, etc etc.
Took me several months before I realised that there was a distinctive letter "S" cast into the inside of the hub... But in a nice bit of symmetry, its now on its way to Doc. :)

and I do promise to put it to good use thanks Nathan 8)

Wanted...
Now that I have relieved Jim of this wheel, for the Hallman Yama** project, I'll need a Brake Backing Plate - anyone help me out? :-[ I believe that a TM250/400 will fit as well as early TS185.
While you're in the garage rooting about, can you see a suitable 21inch mudcatcher there as well? ;D

I thought the 185 was a different size than the 250 hubs an in between the 125
different part numbers for backing plates
TS185R = 54210-28002
TS185L = 54210-28400
TS250L = 54200-30830
TM250K = 54210-16500
TM250L = 54210-32101
TM400L = 54210-32101

Quite right Pokeymon ;) well partially, most early 185's share the same hubs and brakes as the same as the 125's but for a few exceptions. These exeptions are still closer to 125 than they are TM250 or 400 (some of which are different again due to dia. and a torque arm instead of fork lug mounting method). I'd be hunting specifically for RM125M/S,TM250 or an RM125/250/370A backing plate.
