I love Gibbo's Elstar Jawa in that last shot, I'm looking forward to getting my B50 Elstar up & running to join in.
As much as I admire and respect the engineering and history of the US based Flattrackers, to me they look awkward & heavy compared to the flowing lightweight lines of a Slider.

This Jawa is purported to be one of Ivan's
Every second Jawa that comes up for sale seems to be an ex Ivan bike. Ivan was the worst culprit, back when he was wheeling and dealing old speedway tackle he'd buy (usually via Aussie Bob) some Nobodies Jawa, take it home, give it a mini makeover and it'd reappear a week later for sale as an ex Ivan Mauger bike......which literally speaking I suppose is true ::).

Look at that Elstar with a K70 on the rear, there's proof for the tyre Nazi's.
Don't forget Foss if I can get in touch with the guy in the UK that has my box of goodies and manage to get em out here I've got a JAP Elstar frame with your name on it.
I've sent numerous email messages over the last 18 months with no reply but I'm about to set a PI on to him.
I have to agree, anything with a B&W check seat on it aint necessarily a genuine Ivan.
