Title: Maico's in Tassie
Post by: 2 shocks on June 13, 2008, 07:46:14 pm
Had a week to recover from the nationals in Tassie, Maico's everywhere, Shaun Baker took out the Pre 85 & Evo on his awesome 490 maico, Gary Pye racked up wins, Stuart Muntz came in an awesome 3rd place, Jodie Smith was sensational on Stewy's 400, Vics kicked arse, guess the price of Maico's will go up even higher, photo's to follow. Maico Rules

i though he spelt it jody ?

maico riders ? ahh yes they are the one that kept cheating with the pegs.   I regulary saw a top 3 Maico rider i my class draw a 1-5 position pegs and a wide 38, then proceed to line up where he liked in 20-25P not a lot of skill in that riding effort.  Holeshot was everything at that first corner

9.5K for that '74!!  I would have thought that for that kind of money the bike would have to be a precise concourse resto, absolutely perfect in every way, not a blinged up bike with the wrong tank, wrong front fender, wrong pipe, wrong colour frame and non original seat cover. And that's only what I can see in a poor photo. Still, each to his own I guess.
