Track address is

2023 Old Maitland Road Cessnock NSW 2325

The flyer includes a map or is it too small to see detail?

Getting closer
Have you joined the club? if not your number will be up for grabs end of this month and we don't not want to deal with the paper work on race day. Please get you membership form in today.

Have you entered? if not it will cost you extra on the day. Please get your entry in.

Also please remember to have the proper number plate colours on your bike along with the era letters on the front.

OK I have my rear spocket/chain gaurds in place but I wasn't aware of the era letter requirement as it hasn't been enforced in previous years. Will the scrutineers require the letter on all 3 number plates per last years MOMS or just the front (assume the reg has changed this year).

would prefer the letter on all three plates but just the front as a minimum. It makes it so much easier on the grid for the marshalls to easily identify odd bikes out if you know what I mean.

It was encouraged last year with the understanding it would be required for this year.

Haven't raced with Heaven since 2006 and I'm thinking about rejoining this year, so I don't know what the era letters for the numberplates are. Any place I can find out?

Thanks Noel 8)

Early bird $60 entry fee closes this Friday. After that entry goes to the $70 full fee and $80 on the day (except new members who are welcomed anytime even on the day).

It makes it so much easier for the pre-meeting stuff if entries are in by this Friday so please 'extractum the digitum' :P ;D

Already shaping up as a big meeting.

more chance of being a good one than anything else 8)
Here is the Precipitation chart for Nicknock, for the past month.
Notice no precipitation at all for the past week until a lousy 4mm this morning, barely enough to hold the dust down ::)
February 2014 Precipitation chart for Nick Nock (http://www.weatherzone.com.au/station.jsp?lt=site&lc=61260&list=ds)

A beautiful 23 for Saturday and 25 for Sunday, with a gentle 12-16 k/hr cool caressing breeze for the whole weekend :P
with temps only dropping to a mere 19 degrees overnight on Saturday.
Couldn't get better.

Hey mate, if you had of been at south west Newcastle/Lake Macquarrie? Yeap, a vastly different story.
Matcho had 2" running though his bike lock-up :o

But that ain't where the NickNock track is, and I am told it is on the side of a hill,
And if it had of had heavy precipitation(but it didn't),,,,it would have run-off ::) thats what hills do ;D

Hey have I ever told you my plan, vision for dealing with pessimists :-X

And just because I will probably not attend, means bugger all. Please don't think of it as a dissclaimer ;D
It is only because I just got my doctors clearance yesterday, :D :D insert a yippe cy yay or something
and that doesn't give me enough time to get MA to get me off the banned riders list ;D ::) OK

Ok ok, I just rang Zane, he lives only one kay from the track ;D

He just told me, that they have only been experiencing some light drizzle and light showers,
Nothing heavy,
Nothing all all like the biblical cats and dogs deluge like Matcho experienced south of Morriset.

Zane is going to try and find out some more about the track, but at this stage it is looking quite OK.

Well guys after a lot of phone calls, consternation and with a lot of disappointment we have been forced to cancel the Cessnock meeting this weekend.

There has been around 30mm of rain since 9am along with rain since 4am this morning and it is forecasts for heavy rain for the next 24-36hrs. The local club have recommended that the track will be unfit for use.

Newcastle and Lake Macquarie have had massive down pours with local flooding with over 200mm falling in a few hours today and a large low pressure system will have a major impact on rain for 36-48hrs. A few riders arrived looked and went home. Basically we had no options

We will be rescheduling this meeting for later in the year as the entry was very large with 87 pre entries.

Very sorry but little we could do.

Carl & Greg

And I just cancelled my accommodation at Hunter Vally Travellers Rest, Tony at the motel said because it was within the 48 Hr, not one cent will be refunded. So if anyone is thinking of staying at Cessnock in the future give this clown and his establishment a wide berth.

Ring back and tell them that you still want the room. It stops the arseholes booking it out again. ;)
