I am thinking about buying a 1981 Husky 430 CR, does anyone have or know of one for sale??

Got an '81 CR chassis & a complete '82 430 WR. Probably a CR close ratio trans in a drawer somewhere.

They are a meccano set Kenny so its nothing to whip one up out of a box of parts.

I rode a kdx 250 in 83 84 and then went to a husky in 84 -85

the kwaka dealer used to give it to me  big time  about the "european bucket of shit" with 2 shockers and drum brakes etc etc....until I was talking to him over the back of the ute one day and no one else was around and said "these huskys are unreal, 10 bolts and its in a million pieces ...not like that jap crap with 20 bolts to hold the stickers on!!""

I just laughed for hours about that

Kenny,

I have an original 81 CR 430 Husky but I'm not keen on selling it. However, my mate Bob from the Heaven club has an 82 CR 430 that I thought he was going to sell. From what I have seen the bikes are almost identical.

Mine has a deep red (typical Husky red) and the 82 to has a maroon tank with gold H on the tank.

I saw that the other day. Nice bike but as you say, to much $$$ and a later model than I was after!
