Cheap as :o

Tell him he is dreaming.
-
i would want the complete bike for that money!!
-
Tony, It would make that 500 of yours worth a million bucks ;D
-
Ok then, what would be a fair price for this tank?
If he listed it as "best offer"?
Should we start a new category in the market place section of the forum?
"Tell him he's dreamin!' category ;D
-
You blokes must be kidding, a starting price of $1500 bucks for this tank is more then fair. I'd assume the average punter would try wrangling the item for $1000-$1200 in the end and if ya could that would be a bargain !!! It's one of the most sort after tanks for pre 78 jap mx's and it's BRAND FLUCKING NEW!!!! Like they say "if this one's too dear just find another" ;D
Cheers, Brendan

I don't think it is ridiculously priced if you were doing a concourse resto it would be pretty good although you could buy one for $300 dinted and still have it fixed and resprayed for a lot less.
I can't say I haven't spent big money on a tank before. :)

Including original box, will brighten sellers eye balls.. 8)
Worth every cent.

Pre 75 bikes ;D.... what drugs are you on ::) Quoted "It's one of the most sort after tanks for pre 75 jap mx's"

Pre 78, sorry your majesty have now amended the post, i guess you knew what i meant but pointing that flaw out must be your uplifting moment for the day. Good for you pal ;) ;D
-
No, we are not kidding, have you parted with your $1500.00 yet?

I don't need it mate but if I did I'd be busy negotiating with the seller and trying not to piss my pants with excitement that I even found one!! Not on here bantering with the tin ass neighsayers that think everything in life should be free!! ;D :)
Cheers, Brendan

A tank with flaws gets put up for sale on here for $2,500 a couple of weeks ago and most reckon it's a bargain
This tank is brand spanking new for a little over half that. I too would be negotiating on it if I needed it
Rookie, It's good to see you've lost the seagull scavenging attitude to bike and bits prices. Good onya. Keep it up ;D

A guy I bought a shit load of RM370 parts off in Florida had one for $700...I would have bought it if I hadn't already bought a pile of other NOS stuff off him.....talk about peeing my pants when I unpacked a NOS set of fork leg protector's.....now they are the holy grail!!!! 8)....he had a seat for $500....all cheap in my view..... the stuff is out there. If you could find a NOS rear guard you would be in heaven....[all the repo ones are nothing like a genuine one.]
-
Joan ..... It's not forking leg protectors you want ::) the holy grail would be a new hip ;) and from the sounds of it your bladder is playing up also.
-
So you would negotiate, umm...ok
-
The gas tank is some real eye candy, however why spend all that money and blow up your restoration cost when the same thing can be replicated with a re-spray? Plus it isn't even flawless, hope your touch up paint is a perfect match or it's gonna look like crap.

The dreaded three letters, NOS. You may as well tear your wad of $100's up & throw 'em to the wind.
