There a place in Gosford that advertise on Ebay that they will ship bikes over for about $1000. I asked about an engine they said $100 would cover it sounds like not a bad deal.

More specifically, a bike from Oz TO U.S, not the other way.

Try Roly Leahy on the Gold Coast, He has done a bike for me from Cal to Goldy for $245 (on crates) Don't know if he goes the other way though...he may know someone who does.
