Title: 1984 kx500 replacement ignition coil pack (twin lead type)

  Does anyone know if a replacement ignition coil exists for this model kx500. These are the twin leads that are attached on a single coil.All of the OEM replacements I have found  for  the 84 model only have a single lead ,, I have also researched many kawasaki dealers and come up blank. Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy universal twin lead coils, can't see why they wouldn't work.

most suzuki dr650,s run a twin coil pack still today

RD400 coils are twin plug, use 1 on my hybrid ts ignition on the CZ

penton Racing products do a complete PVL ignition for that model , it may be worth contacting them and asking if the coil is interchangable and compatible with the original Kawasaki ignition .   KX 500 (approx. 84-87) Plate measures 94mm/3 3/4 “ from center of holes )

try Steve at Two stroke Shop last one I got was $35 for a 90mm bolt hole twin plug coil

Have a look on ebay for snowmobile coils.  Many two stroke snowmobiles use twin plug coils.  I purchased an aftermarket coil for a Yamaha snowmobile that looked and fitted exactly like a 84 KX coil. I gave it to a mate that is using it on his bike. Costs about $30 new.

rz 350 coil same numbers same bolt spaces as well works fine
