Looks like a mixture of PE175 and RM125. You will need a step ladder to get on it......look how tall it is compared to the RMZ.

DRZ in the background. I don't think it looks too tall.
Cheers, Grahame

From memory the frame was RM250 N or T?

They lengthened the whole frame a few inches to fit the motor in.

There was another RM/TT combo around a few  years ago but they stretched only the engine cradle and kept the original wheelbase

If you have never ridden an RM N/T model, then you don't know what tall is......look at the guard to wheel gaps. The hubs are PE175 on the rear I think and RM125 N/T on the front.....it doesn't have the big 250/400 front hub.

I like it but it would be too tall for me , looks like a PE swinging arm and maybe PE frame ( different rear brake set up to RM ) Pe rear wheel and as Joan says 125/175 front wheel ( maybe you don't need so much stopping power with the engine braking )

PE 400 frame is a lot stronger than the RM frame ( so if it is a PE frame that's not a bad thing )

I think it is a very cool build and would be competitive in the right hands , its a good price I wouldn't think you could build one to that std for what he's asking  :)

Nice build alright but there seems to be little gusseting around the steering head unless the pics are misleading.

It doesn't look any taller than any other N/T Suzuki to me but what would this old pre 75 Philistine Bully Boy know? It appears to be well built and presents neatly but one must ask why it's sat for 10 years without seeing a track. Going by the RMZ in the background, it's not as if he's been away from bikes. There was a similar RM/TT on display at Deus ex Machina for yonks, in fact I thought this was the bike until I saw that it's located in Victoria.

Has anyone checked out the trick Postie Bike he's also got for sale. That really appeals to me. I like the way this blokes brain functions ;D. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-Postie-Bike-/151196621974?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2334055c96  (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-Postie-Bike-/151196621974?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2334055c96)

Selling a custom postie bike. As seen in Motorcycle News. This project has been going on for too long as I have not had the time to complete due to work commitments.
As you can see this postie bike has the lot. Mag wheels, front and rear disc brakes, flat slide carburetor, Top Line Griper Seat, Stain Tune Exhaust, Oil Cooler, steering damper, Posh anodised foot pegs, mirrors etc.
The bike is registered. It is being sold with out a RWC. To complete the project a chain and nylon guilds need to be installed and a battery.
The bike is being sold as is. It is advertised elsewhere. I reserve the right to remove it if sold though other advertisement.
Payment is COD, Bank Transfer. Freight will be at the purchasers expense. For further information please feel free to contact me.

Had I built it I would have joined the frame see the gap at bottom of the motor I know you don't have to but I like to think that a frame should cradle a motor not a motor join the frame looks a little unfinished that way in my opinion only.

The swingarm looks pe but it has been modified perhaps extended at the front by the look of that they don't narrow in like that standard.

It does look like a nice bike if you like that sort of thing.

The more Yamaha bits that go into a Suzuki, the better it ends up.
