That is gorgeous, I love my Zooks.

Chris Carter from Motion Pro has a 69 RH250 that this bike is similar to,
Obviously based on the RH66 the Style, Colour scheme, excellent.
such a pity the production bikes drew the short straw.

I haven't sold off my T20 Flattrack project yet but if I decide to keep her that'll be the look I'm after.

Have something similar on the workbench at the moment Ts 250 1969 ......the wall thickness of all the tubing is about 200 % overkill, and the engine cases are the same ::)
Wonder If I sent it off to Jenny Craig's would it make any difference ;D

Here's my late friend Bob Neilson's TM250/RH67 that now lives in Sweden. Bob sold me my Boyd and Stellings framed TM400, two of my Hindalls and was in the process of restoring my OW72 Yamaha 750 when he died. He all up sold me five bikes and Jonesy got three or four off him. The big guy was a great wheeler dealer and collector of exotic dirt bikes and even though he's no longer with us his wife Linda has remained friends with a number of Sydney's VMX population. The little photo shows Bob and the new Swedish owner with the TM in the late 90's.

WOW 8) I love my Suzy's

I have most of one available, don't think I am ever going to get round to building it. Nice straight frame, good tank, decent front end with mud catcher rim, 1.5 motors. Currently missing swing arm and triples, but I may be able to got hold of them.

Mark I have seen those photos before and associated the name with Bob from Flattrack.com
It is interesting that the bike has Mudcatchers as it is the only one i have seen like it
Do you know its frame number ?
-
Son ... suspension is sorted.
May I ask what you did?
-
early Yamaha front forks 34mm ( ears now removed ) with a modified dampening rod, rear's will be "works " as per my TM 250 as I know they work.

Bob was very well known in flat track and VMX circles and was a regular contributor to Flattrack.com, vft.org and Marks Swapmeet. He was admired for his trick racers and for his amazing ability to find rare and obscure motorcycles. I can't answer why his RH67 had mud catchers but I'd be pretty sure that if it was meant to have steel rims he'd have fitted them as he was pretty meticulous about originality. I've sent an email to Linda asking if she's got any details of the bike including the engine # but I'm not all that confidant.
-
Thanks I have Linda's email but thought it better coming from you.
