Title: CR 250 Upper Fork leg (USD Forks)
Post by: nada on December 17, 2013, 01:40:37 pm
Hi Guys

I have an issue with my upper fork leg with my CR250.

Over the years the through wear and tear and living by the sea, the forks look like something has got in and eaten the them. This is due to the salt in the air, and shit bike wash i'm told.

Does this effect the strength? is it repairable? (I'm thinking not) it looks shit, so im presuming i'm up for a set of legs.

cheers
Nathan

I have seen a lot of the early '90's Cr's with oxidization damage to the upper leg, I wouldn't trust the strength...new bits sorry, you've still got time to get them under the tree... :D

Nada, are these the 43mm USDs?
I MIGHT have a pair from my 93 125 wreck.
