it say maico but i havent seen one with a bolt hole at the rear

Its probably a Maico Prototype , because it says  Test  Nr 2

the rest off the bike is in bits on ebay and it looks like a 78 79 frame but the mounting hole is not usually on maico tank and frame  at the rear

Look at the tank on Mosier's bike, he rode with # 13 in 77, so this looks like a pre-production 78 Magnum late in the year. If that is really a works tank, it is cool.
