Got some 35mm Marzocchis from Simos mate. Their leading axle mid to late 70's vintage (I think!) approx 9" travel. The only ID I can find is GA cast into the lower fork legs. The fork caps have a 12mm socket cast or broached into them. I'm after any information IE exploded diagram, fork oil qty as well as a source for fork seals, wipers, new caps and this strange little slidey thing on the damper rod. I'm planning to modify the rods by drilling extra cross holes and fitting a spare set of YSS damper valves that I have lying around. Any advice or leads much appreciated. Jerry

Marzocchi info is hard to find Jerry. I have a pair of piggy back MX360 Marzocchi shocks that I can't find seals for. I haven't dissambled them and tried around bearing places and the like yet....
Maybe the GA cast is a clue to the forks being from a Maico? I think their 77 enduro models had the GA prefix....not %100 on that though.
As for advice, I wouldn't be drilling any extra holes OR fitting those PDS valves until you have ridden with the forks the way they are. They were apparently a very good fork.
I put PDS valves in my Betor forks on my B50 and it was a step backwards. And it cost me a set of damper rods to find out as you have to make and sweat a socket to fit the bloody things >:(
Luckily I was able to get another set of Betor damper rods..... Cost me more money though.

Thanks TBM for advice about damper rods. I will hold off for time being. I'm told Bultaco fork seals fit straight in. Just have to find some wipers and maybe some caps. J

TMB to find seals I whent to the koni car/offroad dealer and buy mt seals
sharf size 12mm and the outer is 2 mm smaller machine up a thin bush and in stall..
You will never blow them as that stand up to 120 psi ..

I have got what you need. Dust seal covers (always either missing or split!) the cable guides that go on the dust seal covers (made in stainless to they wont rust unlike the originals) Form nuts in to different styles (recessed allen key type ~ like the ones you have) or with a hex head. Both will fit.
I know a lot of people rave about the valve kits, but I will set them up as standard and try them. They work fine for almost all people. However get it wrong and they will never work well with or without a valve kit.
