Title: 490 into 465 frame?

Can anybody tell me if an IT 490 engine will fit straight into an IT465 frame?

Can't see any reason why not seeing as bottom ends are likely to be basically the same

It will fit. I've put a IT250K motor into a IT250G frame and it bolted straight in. The big bore motors are identical bottom ends externally to the 250's so based on that, you won't have a problem. Unless you have a centre port 490 motor that might have some header pipe/ frame clearance issues.

Thanks men I had an idea that it would fit but taking the gamble factor out saves some time.  ;D
