Title: 2009 yz 450f problems

hi , sorry this isn't VMX but need some help , looking at purchasing a very clean and well looked after 2009 yz 450 f .
I have been told the ealier yz 450f gave gear box problems . does anyone know if these problems were cured by 09 ? are there any other common problems to watch out for with model bike ?

Most of the the Pre-F.I. problems were worked out by the 2009 model.  Doesn't turn as crisp as Suzuki or Honda, but then they are not as stable as a Yamaha.  ;)

They were the last of that particular series and was considered the best. Stout engine, great twin chamber forks. If its been looked after go for it.
