The most important part of unobtanium is missing. ::)
Without it (or at least a serviceable one) it a great price for a set of gears.

I should have 3 x RM370 Rods and 2 x RM400 N/T Rods soon, hopefully by Xmas...all for sale. 8)

I don't know a lot about this model, except that I rode one when I was 14 (my bike was a YZ125) and it scared 3 colours of shite out of me :o
Is it the clutch cover that's hard to find?? There is one on US evil bay at the moment.

The rods are the hard part to find.

The conrod is shared between the 370 & 400 and there not hard to find, there impossible. The last one on e-bay (no bearings or pins) sold for $640 USD and that was 6 months ago, haven't seen another since. There is an engineer in Sweeden that will x-Ray your old rod, bore both ends of the rod and press in a sleeve made of kryptonite then shot peen the piece and resize back to original all for the princely sum of $350 USD. Add freight and bearing, pins etc and your at $500.
If someone gets a company like hot rods to do a run, then sign me up for one. I have a mint restored 400C that I'd love to ride but I don't want to destroy the NOS barrel and piston that is fitted.

I have noticed about 12 months ago that Pro-X have started making a rod kit for the 84
Honda CR500RE because they were nonexistant too.
Maybe if you get a heap of people hassling the company they might start making them for that bike as well ?

There is a guy on USA ebay site that sells Rm 370 400 rods that pop up every now and then ;)they seem to fit plus KX 250 as well from memory ....
