pretty much any 1980's can ams with Ohlins twin shocks eg sonic 500, MX 6/qualifier 400. i know one i specifically want is the 1980 MX 6 manual which im trying to find

it all looks very promising at www.repairmanual.com, they list all the ones i want but nill stock on all of them. why the heck do they list them if they dont have them, i dont know.

one guy has already told me these manuals are extremly hard to find, but im hoping they are not that hard to get.

Let us know how you go LWC. I have a 1980 400 qualifier that I'm converting to a MX-6 for some twinshock use.
I have sourced most of the new parts and a 2nd hand MX-6 tank but have no manuals or reference material. :-\

Hi LWC,

I don't know of anywhere to download an MX6 manual.  I do have a spare MX6 125,250 & 400 Operators Manual.  Its a small format owners handbook, but it's pretty comprehensive with sections on timing, carb and suspension tuning, wiring diagrams, brakes, trouble shooting etc.  It's in pretty good nick and you can have it for $25 or swap for Can-Am bits etc.
I also have a copy of an original MX6/Qualifier factory Shop Manual which is pretty comprehensive.  But I don't have spare, and I don't have the facilities to copy it for you- sorry about that.
Let me know if that's any good to you.

Cheers,

Martin
