 Those of you that may or may not be aware of an un-believable gift i have just recieved,

When you think your life is fullfilled with love,family & friends .  Then a group of mates who took it upon themselves to go above & beyond friendship is truly overwhelming

Last Saturday was my 50th birthday,  i was presented un be known to me, my Original                        1983 MR MOTOCROSS race winning Suzuki RM500......... in prestine restored state !

If you look in the photo forum you will see what i mean !   Simply magnificent & a dream come true.

To an absolute treasure of mates starting with the instigator & driving force    "ROSCO HOLDEN "words cannot describe,  no less the other 3 brother compatriots who have also committed there time & effort in this journey  Kristian Perry, Les Barfoot & Mark Hill .

2 years of un reallistic challengers & hurdles encountered didn't waver their enthusiasm  !

I am so humbled & appreciative of this substantial gift of kindness

mate i was there that day at Broadford, an UNBELIEVABLE ride!  Your 500 is now back in its rightful place. 

Happy 50th and CONGRATULATIONS on your surprise, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL involved, just AMAZING although i am not sure AMAZING is a strong enough word, simply SUUUUPEERB!

hi goof I don't know you but I wish I hade friends like you do [nothing to do with $ or the bike value] but to go and do sum thing like that is a good bunch of  friends gratz on your 50

Great story Goof, you have some fine friends there.  It is stories like this that restore faith in humanity.  Thanks for sharing with us, and enjoy!

Seen it looks great I have a 83 rm500 too and I love it what a great gift from those guys I gave my gt80 to my mate original owner it doesn't matter how collectable they are when you have a sentimental attachment to a bike and you get it back it is great, thanks Michael.
