I'd have rather seen a close up of the engine than a photo of a rusty old mudguard that doesn't belong to the bike anyway ::). Interesting little bike, although I'm pretty sure it's not a Minarelli engine like he says in the Q&A, it looks Villiers...ish to me.

1969 50cc Indian Super Scrambler.

At $1500 it might just stay in his shed for another 25 years.

Don't know what engine that had before 1970!

Cool bike. I used to race an Indian 70 in my youth!! Mine was an Indian 70 trail bike stripped down Went like stink against the jap bikes. They did make an Indian 70 mx bike that had a 6 speed box and upswept chamber as opposed to the 5 speed high pipe trail version. Pretty sure they are a Marinella engine. Got a new piston for one in my shed. I know where my old one is, but they want to swap gold for shit!! Love to find an mx one, but very rare here in OZ. Only ever seen one,

That's pre70s I think they used the same engines as Hodaka was using. The bigger  Indians used minarelli engines.I have 2 ME 125 enduro models from 1973 the first came from the tip $150 the second from eBay $350 now one is complete and running. The other one will be a runner by mid next year hopefully. Jimson
