Picked this up today. From what I can gather it is a 1978 H6 Enduro. I dont know much about Montesa bikes except that they are an Ethnic cousin of the two 1978 Bultaco Frontera,s that I have in my garage. Perhaps some of you MONTY boys could tell me if the bike looks original.
I found the following numbers...Compliance plate no.1798/750 with 1978 stamped on also.
Frame no.54M06519
And on the motor behind the front sprocket..3460002W
Not exactly sure what I am going to do with it, but it is a Spanish bike and they do have a unique and distinctive look about them.
The bike seems mostly intact but hasn,t been looked after to well, with a bit of damage around the front sprocket motor casing area. It has an Amal carby . I have no idea what condition the motor is in, but it is not seized. I might strip the bike down, throw everything in a box and get the frame blasted and resprayed...thats a start.

Nice find, the pipe on that model is ment to go under the motor, but apart from that it looks quit original. Good luck with it. Damage around the front sprocket is pretty standard on Montesa's.
