I noticed him on e-bay the other night selling the number plates along with all his car bits
I don't think he is making guards anymore but love to be proved wrong.
I have a couple of pieces in blue and yellow, (NOS  ;D) will have to look through the box and see what they are.
What parts are you chasing?

Yamaico might know, I think he's related to the bloke.

I haven't spoken to Scott for about 18 months. Pretty sure Davey Crocket (and probably others) are more up to date than I am.

My (limited) understanding is that for a variety of reasons, he's pretty much just selling off the remaining stock.

Personally, I reckon his perfectionism makes him his own worst enemy (some of the tanks he rejected were very good quality), but it's his business and his choice.

And yes, he's Yamaico's relative.

I will try and contact him, I have people chasing his guards and plates, like Nathan said, lovely bloke but his OCD makes it hard to except that 90% is perfectly OK.... especially in our minority sport where you don't get many thanks for producing items that are no longer available....his products are 100% perfect and that costs a lot of money....too much so your return is going to take many years. I think the moulds for the guards need repairing and it's not worth his while.

I've sent him an email as I don't have his phone number with me. He is indeed a perfectionist, as anyone that has seen his restorations will attest to. They are, in my mind anyway, faultless. He was a good A grade dirt tracker in his day and an ex Australian junior champion, and a good guy to boot (goes without saying, being my cousin ;D)
We'll see what he comes back with...

I'm interested in his guards too. Last time I messaged him via eBay he stated that he was going to do another run of them but still hasn't got back to me. That was about 4 months ago.

Hey Hooney,

He's doing another run of guards early in the new year, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.
