Title: Bultaco shock refurbishment
Post by: lyle2212 on November 03, 2013, 06:55:31 pm
Now that I have been at home for 2 months with a fractured upper left arm ( snowboarding) and am bored shitless , I have started to strip down my GM Frontera that was returned to me a few months back after being stolen....its amazing what you can do with one arm and a vice grip as a substitute for my other arm, plus lots of cursing.
I would like to get my rear shockies cleaned up a bit and look presentable when I put the bike back together.    Does anyone know of somebody in the Newcastle area who can strip them down and give em a lick of paint...? Regards lyle

G'day Lyle,
I can supply extensive articles on rebuilding gas assisted BETOR shocks, both the piggy-back type & the remote reservoir type. let me know your email address & I will send them to you. They are straight forward to rebuild - if you can use 2 arms!
Thumbs up.
John
