Title: Talon Rim Locks
Post by: Stevo17 on October 30, 2013, 07:14:06 pm
I just got a set of billet Talon rim locks for my Maico project and while I don't usually get off rim locks, these are hot little items.

Having worked around bike shops for many years, I would advise you to select the appropriate rim tape and tube to use with these types of rim locks. Seen plenty of tubes worn through, particularly on trail bikes with these rim locks. That aside I haven't seen the need for them over a normal plain jane  rim locks withe the exception of high power/torque machines like berg 650's & KTM 500cc+ etc
