Title: 84 cr mugen barrel
Post by: Paul552 on October 29, 2013, 07:56:05 pm
While trolling the net for bits and pieces for my 84 cr125 project I stumbled over this.

I am no expert but I am wondering what the Honda experts have to say about it?

Especially the mugen barrel and use of power valve. ( I thought it was normally removed on hotted up cr's in the day)

Any information would be nice to know so I thought I would put it out there!!!!

I think it depended on what pipe you were running,if it was the stocker you would need the powervalve assembly in place,It could still be disabled &/or blocked off easily ;)some aftermarket pipes had a longer header which took the place of the powervalve,This bike which I'm guessing would have been a team Honda USA bike is running it,It could be inoperable though, they ran Pro-Circuit pipes mostly around then or HRC :)
