I like it, well except for the tank :o and the scrotum remover at the back of the tank ::)
I have bought eight of these little ER's now, I think they are a great little fun machine.
Just recently discussing with Brownie that we should carve one into a trials machine and then sell the template(TY175).

What about the backwards forks, probably not much worse than the rl was & that comes from someone who owned 1

Looks farken terrible to me....some people should never be allowed to pick up a spanner let alone work on anything mechanical.

Looks like it started out as an ER 185. The swingarm looks wrong maybe it's off a A4?

You can build these specials with class if you know what you're doing. That bloke had the vision but only really fell short with the fugly tank treatment. Yamaico Pete did a similar thing with a DT175 Yamaha and it turned out much neater. Same with my chopped and channelled Maico 250 trials bike. It's a little fugly but it works
                                                                                                       (http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k495/firko2/firko2018/CD9108_zps14c76e1e.jpg) (http://s1112.photobucket.com/user/firko2/media/firko2018/CD9108_zps14c76e1e.jpg.html)
Or even my Maico..

By turning the forks backwards he reduced the offset by about 50-60mm.

The bike would have so much trail it is probably stable at 200km/h but I wouldn't expect it to turn too well at low speed

Apart from the tank and maybe bringing back the fork angle I like it . Iain

That 1 actually doesn't look too bad, someone that knows what they're doing could finish that off properly & end up with a bike better than a standard RL
