Hi,

I'm going to resurrect my parts bike into something l can ride.

When l bought it no matter how hard l tried the gearbox would only select first and neutral (l rode it home so l got to try a lot  ;D) I'm wondering if this is something someone may have struck before.......

Its not a clutch dragging type of issue either as l can still only get first and neutral with the engine off. It does click nicely when l move the lever, just wont move through neutral into second.

The gear lever has a habit of hitting on the case if it's on the wrong spline or bent a little, stopping you from selecting gears. Been caught with KDX's a few times now.

don't the pins on the selector brake .maybe pull the clutch cover off and have a look at that .

thanks k but l can't see any clearance issues on the outside.

Going to take the side cover off tomorrow and have a look.
