i´ve had this for a while but on sunday i took it out of the garage for the first time to give it to my 9 year old nephew.
thing runs like a little chainsaw and nephew did quite well for his 1rst time on a bike.

this will not be restored, no parts over here, never seen a second one here in germany. still a little work on it but overall good condition.
it will just be used to have some fun and bring some style to the youth track. :-)

Heaps of guys had these back in the day but the 79 model was sooo much better they were quickly forgotten. They use to brake the swingarm from memory. Cool little bike all the same.

Na klar! Sure it is ridden !
Einen neuen originalen satz Tank und Plastikteile habe ich mir weg gelegt und der Rest wird geschunden  ;D !
I've stored an new original dekor kit, including the Tank, number plates and mudgart, except front guard because i have none. And so the bike can restored to original very easy again  ;)

In Rain am Lech 2007 war sie schon mit dabei. This was in Rain a. Lech (Maico-Meeting) 2007 !

Hat mein Neffe im Alter 12- 14 Jahre ab und zu gefahren.
Danach hat meine Tochter 2009 fahren wollen (11 Jahre). Aber der Umstieg von der JR50 war zu hart. Zu viel Power und die Kupplung zu hart..... Ich hab dann einen DT 50M Motor eingebaut, mit 2x6 Kupplungsdeckel, YZ 80D Kickstarterwelle und DT Tuning-Auspuff geht das  ;)  Und sie läuft mit 16'er Vergaser ganz ordentlich, hat ca 5-6 PS. Die Kupplung ist mit einem Finger zu ziehen und packt weich. Aber wenn man Krawall will, muss man nur etwas höher drehen, dann kommt sie auch gut aus den Hufen  ;D

My nephew has ridden it 2007- 2009 and then my doughter wanted to ride it, but clutch and power was too strong for her :P.
So i decided to adapt an DT50M engine to fit in the chassis.
The Dt engine fits, if you take the clutchcover of the YZ and a kickstarter shaft from YZ80D.
And so i did it! The exhaust is an 50ccm as well and the carb is an 16mm instead of the 21/24..
It goes nice and fast enough  :D
