Hey guys, i have found myself the bike i was looking for and a great example at that! :D It's a 1998 Tenere660 and is a nice low mile example that im looking forward to clocking up some miles, bike is at TeamMoto Yamaha at Nerang on the Goldy. If anyone happens to be coming down this way in the near future i'd be happy to make up some fuel costs to make it worth your while and help with the journey. If i cant get a hand i'll just pay full whack for transport but just thought i'd see if it can be beneficial to someone here as well as me first.

Team Moto have a truck that goes between the Brisbane shops and the Blacktown shop all the time.....you might be able to get it to Sydney (Blacktown) if you sweet talk them. ;)...or get Tony T to ride it back for you if he comes up to the Nats.....that's right up his game.

Thanks for that lil bit of info, although i think i may have used up all my bartering power while screwing the fella down a fair bit during the negotiation process! He eventually came to the party and in his words "against the bosses wishes" sold me the bike $1200 below advertised price, which doesn't sound like too much but i guess on a bike advertised at $4999 is a pretty sizeable blow to their chunk of it. Im not sure Tony would even allow the arch rival of his beloved DR.Big near his bum or trailer!! ;D ;D

Any luck with some help on the 2 transport offers/asks I've put up, will have to go down path of paying thieving transport mobs in the next few days if none of you bloke will take my money off me!! :'( ;D
