For Sale 1981 CR430 Husqvarna
This bike was restored a few years ago, the motor was restored by the previous owner about 5 years ago, he only had a few rides trailing riding it when the ignition failed, I purchased it and fitted a rewound ignition (small coil rewinds).
It was then restored and ridden for rec riding only, its never been raced by the previous 2 owners, the motor has only done about 5-6 hours since full rebuild.
It had the frame powder coated, rims anodised, spokes zinked, hubs painted, new tyres, seat recovered, new plastics, the tank has just been painted in Candy Apple Red 2 pack.
It also comes with the following spares, crankcases, flywheels, gearbox, clutch, triple clamps, front forks and a set of plastic side covers.
I am selling it because of a shed cleanout, I do not ride it often enough, its a very fast bike!!!

Price : $4,000

Nice. Good model too.
-
Very nice!
-
Nice.. a couple of oddities.. XC / WR rear barke plate... XC type silencer...and a later model clutch cover... side panels on tank are stickers.. which could mean bog in tank.... but overall ... great bike with superb, managable power.. and for the time great suspension..
-
82 model?
-
Certainly has the later than 81 model front hub..
-
Nice, especially considering US imports are advertised for similar money and are ostensibly project bikes.
-
Watto, no bog in the tank, they are the alloy tank panels, with clear over them!!!

Very nice machine .
I like the idea of the later model cover for clutch access .
What year Husky is the cover from ? Does is bolt straight on ?
