It's about a bloke called Christophe Barriere Varju who is apparently a French Australian and lives in Sydney.  He's apparently done a few Dakars before this one that the film is about.

Met him at Finke a few years ago when he was gearing up for a Dakar assault. Nice guy, but he looked liked he needed a fair bit of seat time, and I did not think he would see it through. Cannot wait to see the movie

Alright good people this is a Hard Post and not take lightly, I have helped Dave Schwarz" Dakar Campaigns since 2008, after a long journey when he lost his best mate in Andy Caldecott and still involved and have been part of helping Tracey, Caitlin and Mitch who was not born when his dad past away in Jan 9/2006 .

I got asked to help Dave and willingly and has been come a Great Mate, and his wife Tamara and his 3 Girls are the world to him, typical hard working, quiet unassuming character, but with massive heart , and has just last year Finished every Australian Safari Supported or Not in the Top 10, and finished every Dakar Entered.

David and I have correspondence from Frederic Lequein Dakar ASO Ceo, to this day , Christophe and his buddy Jean- Noel, still owe Dave 3000 Euro, please pass on he is no Australian, you know what he is, and they came over by ship , and should be behind bars, he could sell snow to the Eskimos, if you Google see how many sponsors he has in Aus, in the past and now, and that's only because he has slipped past them for his Golden fame Door.  Happy about a movie about a UNDERDOG and Punter that's Honest, in fact that should be about Dave Schwarz.

I said enough read below Karma will have it way, we don't hide so feel free if you have any questions.

Puis nous avons perçu, cette fois çi, directement par Monsieur Schwarz, et par virement bançaire les sommes de 3000 € en octobre 2007, puis de 6500 € au mois de novembre 2007.
Then we have received, this time, directly by Mr Schwarz, a bank transfer of 3000 € in october 2007, and a new one in november 2007 for an amount of 6500 €. for a total amount of 9,500 €.

Following the cancellation of the Dakar 2008, we refunded all the money directly to the payers ( 4000 € for SARL DB 4x4 and 9500 € to TAMARA LEE SCHWARZ ), we did those refund in february 2008.

A ce jour, et comme déjà expliqué plusieurs fois aux deux parties, ASO a parfaitement tenu ses engagements en remboursement 100 % des sommes versées !
As already explained to everybody, ASO perfectly respected everybody and refunded 100 % of the monney !

Oh so you know goes back into the bank account that it was transferred to ASO to, so SARL Jean -Noel and Sir Christophe are SARL and the 4000 euro first entry deposit.

I have known David for a lot of years from when he used to race in the South Australian Enduro's and to his first Safari. Was truly happy when he got the KTM ride on the new then KTM 450 Ralley bike in the Safari. A truly Humble man. Knew Andy for a lot of years as well
