At my age this event holds very little reminiscent sentiment for me to indulge, yet i still think it'd be super cool to be at!!!  8)

Hi Mike far from any disrespect but I have been and learnt so much about Mr MX and the Muscle Man Trophy in the last 20 months more than most.

Can you please give more details on you being given that Trophy from Vince and what year and when, also send a pic of the full trophy including base please.

Mike don't take my post the wrong way its just part of l my journey and I thought I had a good handle on the whole 15 yrs of Mr MX , that I been working to preserve for ever in another way, and re: ignite the passion that's is and was and can be again?

Regards Rosco

Can email me direct at [email protected] if you like

Alright good people tickets sales are picking up , but people still thinking they need to get a Table Of 10, no single tickets up to as many as you want under that available, just that you will be sharing with like minded people who wouldn't want to miss for anything, so always fun to meet New People with the same Interest Heh?

Would be better to get on it now and not miss out?

I'm not missing out, as I brought the First Ticket, so I'm going apparently, and trybooking .com works, just punch in event name, then date and venue and up she comes.
cheers Rosco

Classic Dirt without dirt and a single night to go down in the history books of Australian Classic MX.
Top of the charts.

Had a ball, meet a few forum members....Stan, KB and a few regulars [Mr and Mrs Melvin, GMC] and a few more I cant think of there names at the moment. Pretty good QLD contingent turned up....090, JohnnyO, KTM47, Holeshot buddy, Number8 and a few more. Was an awesome evening, lots of cool...everywhere.....was worth the pain [taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong end of the casino and had to hobble along 500 meters to the room where it was being held.....stuffed up and forgot to take my pain killers before we left so was pretty sore by the time we got back to the hotel]. To have so many of the icons of our sport still around is pretty amazing and Rosco did a fantastic job organising the event, I don't know what the final figure was they raised in the charity auction but it must have been close to a 100K....The brand new 74 Bully pulled 13.5 k and a few other items went for 5k. Looked like the whole event was videoed so hopefully Rosco brings out a DVD. Neil Compton did a great job as MC. As my mate William Doe say's....."proud to be part of motocross's golden years".... I have been to Melbourne 4 times now, everytime to do with MX....next time I will make a holiday of it. Thanks to Brad and Kev for carrying my bags.....I guess I can call them my bagman, it was Melbourne afterall. ;D cheers

Yeah I'm with Davey Crocket and VMX247's comments. it was a spectacular night, thanks again Rosco. I can't believe where the time went. Thought I was at the wrong venue for a while as I couldn't see any of the young guys that I rode with 40 years ago only a room full of old blokes  ;D ;D ;D
Great to catch up with lots of old mates and meet some forum members that I never get a chance to catch up with. Fantastic to see all the interstate girls and guys making the effort to attend.
This type of event needs to be kept rolling as we are not getting any younger.

Stan.

Congrats to Rosco & helpers, it was an excellent night.
I would have liked to have been there when the guys were wheeling the MX bikes in through the door at Crown, I assume they would have had to squeeze them into a lift as well?

Too many people to catch up with but good to catch up with some interstate forum members as well as many others.
They made an extraordinary amount of money from the auction for Challenge, supporting kids with cancer which was great too.

Agree with all comments & then some.

Rosco,

Great night mate.

A night I will always remember. This was bucket list stuff. (Pardon the cliche)

I had to feel a little sorry for the champs putting up with 50yo+ kids telling them they were their hero & inspired them to become MXers.

Alright it may have been just me but they were all gracious & suffered in silence.

Could have listened to stories all night, just went too quick. Did not want it to end.

Rosco, I am assuming there will be a DVD at some stage? Any idea when & approx price?

Perko
