I will have to try and catch up with my moron postman in the morning, to see if the f/wit can remember not to fold the bloody thing in half and jam it in the letterbox.  How hard is it to just put it in the the section provided for papers and magazines.

Now you seam to be a reasonably handy sort of a bloke Zane.

Maybe its time for you to start knocking up some more suitable ebay compatible mail boxes,
to replace them oldtimey standard 6 x 4 letter-boxs.

Here she is, engine fully rebuilt by John Kaiser here in Geelong, the rest of the bike fully restored by Tom White main man, the Dot Tank bought new from England hand built
by the original Dot Factory Tank maker. I am proud of that bike and I am very happy that its in Tom Whites Museum. That Dot is the original Stacker and Barrows Race bike.
Thanks Ken and Alastair for putting that Dot on the front cover of VMX, I am real chuffed, Its nice to see that thousands of people can see it now, if I hadn't call that day to buy that bike, that Dot would have still be lock away and no one would ever see it again, as the owner Past away, it was the right time, he would have been proud to see his bike in a museum.

Mick my letter box has a place for magazines etc but it would be easier and quicker to train a monkey than this dunce.  I bet he gets lost doing his deliverys at least twice a week.

I got mine yesterday.......as usual a good balance of bikes covering most of the classic off road scene. The SWM flat tracker is a two wheeled Gina Lolabrigida and Norberts Maico collection and the German Motorcycle Museum collection have the Maico range pretty well covered. For the hot rodders there's a very cool C&J Honda and the pre 65 boyos will be happy with the Dot coverbike.
Despite the great balance there will still be the odd punter who'll whinge because there's not enough of their particular passion but I reckon he'd be in the minority. If this issue doesn't ring your bell, nothing will 8).

I have to say that Aussie post seems to be getting slower and slower in delivering the Australian magazines.  The worst part is that there is nothing we can do about it.  >:(

The two features with Maicos in them are fantastic. The feature on the 1979 works 250 does raises a question from me. Why did Maico make the 1980 model the way they did? Why didn't they just up grade the 79 models to the same as the works bikes, that would have been a better bike. What were the 1980 works bikes like?

I'll have to make a rear brake lever like the works ones. They look trick.

Kevin

For those of you who missed the pre-sale on eBay, Issue #55 is now for sale in a regular listing on eBay.  ;)

It will also be available on the VMX web site in a short while.
