Montesa VB250 project bike. It needs a piston, it is missing, and rod kit. If this bike sells, I will offer to the high bidder a NOS cylinder and piston kit for an extra $300. If the bike does not sell, I will part it out and sell everything separately. This is a project I am not going to get to finish. I did start doing a few small things which are outlined below.
I have a reliable and reasonable shipper I have used in the past. For door to door uncrated service, contact Brandy at R1R6 Express: [email protected] I can personally get this bike to Davenport Iowa for $100 around Thanksgiving.
Please look over the pictures and ask questions before bidding. I will include both exhaust systems, one is missing the silencer and the other has the silencer but it has been brazed on.
Frame and engine numbers match.

Seat foam is in good shape / seat pan is rusty but solid
Forks do have new seals
Wheels are straight with new bearing and seals
Engine spins freely, crank is not a rust bucket - the lower bearing is loose
Transmission turns freely
Tank is solid
Air box cage is included but not pictured
Airbox cover is not cracked (picture added)
There aren't too many of these. Here is your chance to have one for a few bucks. No reserve and I will not relist this as a single unit, it will be sold off in parts if no bids are made.
