Title: chopped in Vic
Post by: jimson on October 06, 2013, 07:13:31 pm: G,day viewers anybody on this forum go to the 8) Chopped Hot Rod car and bike event in Victoria this long weekend?
I did I,m on my way back to NSW now. I would have to say one of the best events ever.Its has change my view on life and have had my own appiffany. If that's the way its spelt. Jimson

Didn't call in because 2 mates and I bought new KLR650's last week and we were on our first shakedown adventure ride. Had an absolute ball with our new big postie bikes ;D

Hey Stan, I have a soft spot for them there KLX650's. thinking about getting one of them or a V-strom from Santa.
Whats the chance of throwing up some pics if you have some please Stan.

Post by: Rookie#1 on October 06, 2013, 08:16:47 pm: Saw bucketload of pre 65 cars n bikes today, rode the gixxer from Bacchus marsh over to ravo to check out the viper meet and see some people. My route took me through castlemain and daylesford which are the nearest main towns to newstead. Been a long time since I spent a day doing a few hundred ks sitting between 150 and 200+kph!!

Post by: oldskool on October 07, 2013, 06:46:16 am: M y brother ,his missus and one of there mates cruised down there from Woodstock were my brother lives they went down there in his mates early 60's chev.His missus has been posting photos up on face book.My brother is building a rat rod Austin A40 panel van at the moment it has the surface rust look which will be left that way also has Torana front end and steering,Torana diff and a shit hot 179HP with 600 holly 4 barrel.There is a photo of it on mine and my wifes facebook photography page along with our photography from car shows and night time meets around Brisbane most of our photos are hot rods and classics no late model commodores or fords.Go and have a look and please like it while your there here's a link to the page.Enjoy 8)
