Just bought a ts250x seems to be 86 model its the yellow , blue frame disc brake front end . Its a bit a pig at the moment. Anyway as I have limited knowledge at the best of times and only done one bike which is a YZ 125x, my info on Suzuki is limited, I have found an manual out of NZ , but can anyone suggest a good on line parts web and would like to get a complete parts list. Also if anyone know what parts from other models are compatible much appreciated, as there does not seem to be the info the YZ's and RM's Any advice would be great -Scott

You can also google Suzuki Simon in the Uk and a guy in South Oz Suziparts.co.au, also good at tracking down hard to get parts.

you can also try http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-ts250-1986-xg_model14193/partslist/ (http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-ts250-1986-xg_model14193/partslist/)
The TSX250 was made from 1984 to about 1988. All models are basically the same except the '84 XE model which had a single downtube frame where the exhaust port exits to the left. Obviously the '84 cylinder and exhaust won't work on later models where the exhaust exits centrally through a semi double cradle frame but most other parts swap straight over. They were marketed in other countries such as France, UK and Japan but designated as an RH250 not TSX250. They were never sold in the US hence it's a little harder to find good parts diagrams online.
I have an '84 model I've only ridden a few times but it seemed like a pretty good thing ;) Full Floater, flatslide carb and liquid cooled but more significantly it had the front disc brake and power valve of types a full year before either made an appearance on the production RM250's.

I have one in the shed that I bought last year of the guy who bought new. He used to clubman race enduro's on it. It has a 38mm Mikuni on but still has the auto oiler. different muffler, and the guts taken out of the expansion chamber. goes really well!! Forks have about 30mm preloaders in the forks as well

I have a 1985 TS 250x rough roller, with motor in a thousand bits, (buggered second gear) with a factory service manual if it's any good to anyone ??
Abandoned project !!

I had an '88 model for a short time and really enjoyed it.
It belonged to the local Suzuki dealer who gave it to me to ride as long as I didn't damage it too much......... :(
Day 1, I left it overnight at a mate's place while we went out and his dog ate the chain guard and rear guard extender off it!!! ;D ;D ;D
I reckon they're a bit underrated. 8)
Actually, one of Tex's brother's has/had one and looked like he got around ok at a couple of Vinduros.

I recall not really liking those 250X back in the day as my brother and a friend had them, but that looks really good...
