Title: clutch set up

Hi, anybody got any tips on clutch set up re my 1980 440
I,ve installed new springs and plates but clutch not right,
Any tips on spring/plate numbers or potentially anything else.
any help greatly appreciated :-\

Is it dragging or slipping

slipping, and you can feel first gear grinding when you try to engage
