Anyone got any more info?

USA won the pre 90 mxdn and England won the Twinshock mxdn. There were no Aussies riding this year and Darryl King was hurt and didn't ride. Dowd swept all 4 pre 90 motos, just like Ryan Hughes last year.

Quote :: Farleigh Castle is very rainy today - scrutineering was cool - in a giant white tent with every other bike saying chsterfielsd yamaha,a nd herbert schmidt i think was behind where i was standing at one point - i ran into rod spry who build amazing thumper hondas- JBR- the john banks racing - 25 new bikes - they are on number 7 right now- 4130 chromoly hand brazed. way too cool. photos when i get back. spoke with john dowd, guy cooper, and my friend Simon Reilly who drove his triumph down from manchster so we can shoot it in front of the castle on monday when tghe dust has settled. team is pumped for tomorrow, track looks pretty fierce to me. - SIEGE from usa via FC

I was wondering about that too, you have to be 30+ to ride the des nations, not sure if he is?
Another ex superbike star Chris Walker went pretty well in the pre 90 supports

Ok I just found out it is the same Josh Brookes, his ride organised by DK. So there was one Aussie there..

How good is that shot of JMB and JC yet more awesome HONDA riders!

Yes it was THAT josh brooks, wow that bloke can ride a mx bike very very well. JMB was pure class, lines like no one else could see. coppins was on a 250 so at a disadvantage but everyone got schooled by john dowd. epic weekend of bikes and bullshit talk. see you all 2014

caught up with a guy that watched Manjimup in 92 on tuesday night. He was saying jmb just cruised until his pit board told him "2 to go" then he was epic to watch blitz it on those last two laps. 8)

John Dowd is a machine :) 48 yrs young and hauling , Josh Coppins rode the wheels off a std looking CR 250 against the trick 500s 0f the other fast guys . Jean Michelle Bayle still has the magic that he had in the day , he holeshot a couple of races but dropped back a few places after a couple of laps . Apparently he had not ridden a 500cc 2 stroke for 25 yrs but you would never know, he was riding different lines to everyone else .
Overall the pace seemed even faster than it did a couple of years ago and the track was incredibly rough by the Sunday, the Pom Brian Wheeler really rode the race of his life in the final evo race and would have probably won if he didn't get bogged by lappers on the last lap .
I went to the modern MXGP while i was in the UK and in comparison to Farliegh it was an expensive bore fest ::) people will say im biased as i live in the past but he reality is the racing was way better at Farliegh in all classes .

I know it was last year, but this would have to be one of the best video's I've seen of this event.
