Bugger, I paid full price for three the first day they went on sale.. I should have waited but how are you to know? Last time they had the stands they sold out in no time at all.

No worries lozza.

I notice the amount of clearance discount often varies from suburb to suburb with Aldi.

By the way the pics I posted in the first place were at the Junction outlet and they had heaps of them, but will most likely clear out quickly at this price ;)

Me too Mark. In my absense I sent Jackie down there to lug three of each home. Best she doesn't find out about this...

I've got two of these one used a couple of times the other still in its box.

Free to good home. Come and get them.

I am in Pennant Hills NSW.

Cheers

I went to my local Aldi store in Eaglehawk and the stands are still at the old price. When asking about the discounted price the manager  tells me there is no price reduction. ???

I we nt to my local Mt Druitt Aldi this morning and bought another stand for $29.99 on special. I'm thinking of going back for another front wheel transport stand tomorrow for $49.99.                 .

Firko,I purchased one of the front wheel stands.I reckon it's pretty good.Coudn't make one for $50.At the price reduction the stands are an absolute bargain. Some folk reckon Aldi stuff is junk.I'll be watching to see if they discount the stands at the Eaglehawk store and I'll be buying up if they do.

I agree Lewis, I've currently got my DT1 sitting in one and it seems pretty stable so I'll go over in a little while and pick up another. If the Eaglehawk store isn't discounting why not give the Strathdale or Kangaroo Flats stores a ring and see if they're discounting them? I've had a good run with Aldi stuff. The tools are usually good for cheapies, especially the ratchet spanners. The electric tools are just fine for home use and for the price you can buy three and have spares. My only real failure was the small drill press I bought a few years ago that has bugger all guts.
Here's my DT1 Yamaha sitting in the Aldi front wheel stand. While it's not as stable as a rear wheel or underneath lift type stand but it's still pretty good. I reckon they might be good value on a trailer or in a ute or van

Firko,Kangaroo Flat are offering $10 off the usual price.Trailered a bike(BSA 250) back from SA recently and the front stand was as you'd want it to work.Brilliant. I'm watching and waiting.

Lewis, I bought 3 at $49.99 and thought they were a bargain but when Mick D posted the reduction photo I went to my local in Alfredton (Ballarat) store and they had reduced them to $39.99 also. I found an assistant and explained I had a picture of them reduced to $29.99 at a NSW store and she happily gave me 2 for that price (thanks Mick D). I guess it's worth asking.

Stan.
