Title: Won the trick TM250 on evil bay
Post by: Rookie#1 on September 05, 2013, 11:15:47 pm
Hey gents, i was staggered to see that no one bettered my bid of 2k on this thing!! I'm pretty happy with the win and look forward to taking delivery....i think :-\ The more i look at it the more it seems so very trick and almost none of it stock, should i be worried that this thing will be a nightmare to finish and own?? Or is all of the modification and bling likely to make it vastly improved?? Cheers, Brendan

Great buy well done.Considered bidding myself as am doing a 74 one that needs wheels and stuff but probably cheaper for me just to buy the parts I need.Have fun Im sure it will be awesome when finished! ;-) Richard.

You nicked that Brendan, good buy. Won't take much to get that finished. You probably won't want to run it on methanol (unless you plan on riding it in dirt track) so you'll need to pull the compression ratio back a bit and then jet it accordingly. Well done though, that'll be a great bike (it's from Wollongong - it has to be good)  ;D

Good looker but a closed market: if that was a yz you would of had competition not just watchers. I hope you are actually gunna ride at Sunbury not just turn snags :)

That's a great buy, I love a trick bike....the only thing that bothers me is......." Cases have been modified to RH specs with extensive bird mouthing requiring machining and welding ". I thought that the '76 TS cases were  the only ones to use to achieve the RH specs. I'm the first to admit that my Suzuki knowledge isn't as strong as my knowledge of Maicos or metal tank Yamahas so I may be way off on this.

Great buy Brendan.  If I didn't have my trick little CZ250 I'd have been bidding against you on that one  ;)

Nice unit, Nice work
I currently have 2 for sale. i was dead keen to buy that one. Just curious Brenden, Ebay showed that a bidder had placed three bids. For one- were they all your bids and what was your max bid on that $2k....

Good score, a mate had one back in the day and traded it in on the next model with the rising sun tank. Two other mates bought them at the same time. I got to ride them, I was 14 and jumping off my DT250 on to one of these was an eye opener. I got to powerslide and wheelstand at the same time. It left a lifelong impression on me that was only slightly overshadowed by a ride on a 250 Bultaco Pursang.
