Hi does anyone know the approximate weight of TM250 engine with barrel and head

The only figures I can think of are "a lot" and "too much", but I don't have any metric conversion charts for them.

Somehow I don't think I was any help.  ;)


I'll look in my old magazines to see if any tests mention engine weight.

Halo, TM250 engines weigh just under 33kgs or 72.5lbs complete with head, cylinder and magneto  ;)

covers, electrics, clutch assy and magneto weigh 6kgs

head and cylinder about 9kgs.

bottom end less the parts list above about 18kgs.

And the complete bike weighs 40kgs

 :D actually Lozza out of interest, the complete roller weight less motor is about 67kgs or about 148lbs ;)

or the motor weighs 0.75 "Docs" and the chassis 1.25 all up 2.0 "Docs".Does that fully answer the question Halo????

well buggered if i know what they weigh, but i reckon if they're to get freighted from, lets say newcastle to brisbane, then there should be some kind of feul levy involved, which as we all know at todays prices is,
phenominal!
